Wearing your over-sized and heavy jewellery to work is one big mistake that you should not want to make. Although, sometimes, you might wear a sari or a salwar kameez to work, but you must definitely give it a good thought as to what kind of jewellery you team it up with. Narrowly speaking, Indian styled or Indian designed jewellery looks great only on festive occasions and weddings. Wearing it for a casual night out or when out with friends is a simple no-no! The simple reason why this teaming up does not really go well is because you might only end up looking too conventional. For example, a simple pendant on a single simple chain works well for any kind of work attire or western outfit. There are several of us who give the necklace a miss, if we plan to wear dangling earrings. Having said that, remember, as any girl would tell you, wearing earrings is a must. But do make sure that you choose tops over huge danglers all the time. If you plan on wearing a sari to work, that's perhaps the only time you should choose a pair of dangling earrings to wear to work. Even then you should diligently make sure that the earrings you choose are simple and not too overtly dressed.
